Thanks guys for a great weekend of team work, mateship, encouragement, and committment to not only your team, but the volunteers and your club. I am proud to be involved with such a great group of young men that have taken the initiative to rise above and take on the challenge of building the club with the committee and volunteers support. Training camp is just the beginning of what the club plans on doing in 2009 and the years to come.
I would personally like to thank Ernie Baxter and Andy Smith for making the camp possible. You guys are legends and we are planning another camp next year. A special thank you to Cody & Robyn for giving up their weekend to help out with the club. Many thanks to one of our sponsors Coral Coaches for supplying a bus to transport the boys to camp, the Mount Carbine Hotel for hosting the boys after their run and the volunteers that helped out over the weekend: Steven Santarossa, Terry Maloney, Craig Walker, Michelle & Shari Thorburn, Bruno Sagiba, PJ, and Pat.
