Mossman & Port Douglas Sharks

The Mossman and Port Douglas Sharks are holding a Family Fun Day on the second of May at the Mossman Showgrounds. Activities commence at 2pm and continue throught until 7pm.

Saturday 2nd May 2009 2.00pm – 7.00pm

Activities:       

• Merry-go-round
• Jumping Castle Big & Small
• Roll-ems Chocolates
• Face painting by Clowns with balloons

Competitions:

• Mechanical bull rides/Mechanical Surfboard – (Best times recorded with name & Ph. No.)
• Three legged race – 100 mts – (The pair that crosses the line with any part  of both bodies. Must have stocking tied the whole race. Start on “Ready Set Whistle”)
• Throw the broom- (The winning throw must be projected forward and the farthest distance without stepping over throw line)
• Sack race – 100 mts- (The winning competitor will be the one with bag on for the whole race that crosses the line first. Start on “Ready Set Whistle”)
• Hot Dog 10 minute eating competition- (The winner will be the competitor who eats the most complete hotdogs without reguriatating any part of a hotdog. Water may be consumed between hotdogs.)
• Thow the football through the bullseye - 1 minute (The winning competitor will be who throws the most regular size footballs through the bullseye)
• Karaoke competition- (Choice of songs from list- sing a long with song or lipsync – Winner will be from overall presentation/most entertaining as scored by 3 judges)
• Tug of War – 3 teams from A/B/C Grade – (Nominated teams from A/B/C Grades will compete. First will be C against B. Winner goes through. Then loser against A Grade and winner goes through to final. Then final is held. Winner is decided when the team pulls the other team so that the marks on the rope go past the line on either end.)

6.00                 Call for Karaoke entries – Start Tug of War Final

6.15 – 6.45       Start Karaoke competition.

7.00                 Winners of Karaoke/Mechanical Bull/Mechanical Surfboard announced.
